The studio name embodies the unique nature of my work. This is my story:
A Story With a Name:
I created Arc Castle Studio as a multifaceted design and envisioneer’s studio. Above all, it’s a work that values good relationships. Its also a work that supports our relationships with what is good, true, and beautiful. Accordingly, we design to support the needs of the client. Our studio name delineates this nature of our work:
‘ARC’ denotes an all encompassing big picture or story arc about creating substantial value, and harmonizing the entire project. We define ‘Arc’ as: a light, a bridge or connection. It can also be a detailed measurement, structurally stabile, authentic, journey, pathway, written record, and story structure. We believe the Arc represents an irreplaceable building block in our work which always strives to improve and reach for excellence.
The next building block: ‘CASTLE’ serves as a metaphor that embodies a cohesive design process. The castle is one of the more unique and noble building types in all architecture. And it represents a one of a kind creation. A timeless design, that harmonizes form, function and aesthetics. The castle is a thoughtful and strategic building type unlike any other.; uniting the entire project. Perhaps most compelling, is found in the way a castle was created. A thoughtful collaboration among the king, queen, architect, craftsmen, artist, builder, and all who lived upon the land. Acting in a united way with a common cause and mission..
The third building block represents the linchpin of our work. The ‘STUDIO’, simply serves as guide or advisor for a journey of exploration and discovery. We serve human beings, not machines. Our studio represents a unique collaboration with many stakeholders that are united. The studio provides many options over the status quo, always seeking an objective truth, Our studio serves both near and far, throughout the realm.
Our mission is to serve those who dare to think and produce a work that is irreplaceable due to the relationships that created it, We will never advance a machine-like or superficial skin deep beauty. Our work first seeks to advance an objective truth, and to create individual beauty.
