Master Landscape Site Plan
The master plan was created to enhance the existing single family residence. The design created new outdoor spaces as extensions of the home. This provided enhanced functionality and ease of connecting interior rooms to new exterior spaces.
Information Kiosk @ Normandale College
The design of a new information kiosk station provided a unique kiosk that was created from 95% of existing materials that were utilized in making this kiosk. With the exception of new computer and select fasteners.
Entry Gate Design
Entry gate system designed to establish a formal entry point on residential estate. The Design also established an integral security system that was designed into the gate system
University of Minnesota, Department of Forestry
Participation in research study project to combat against the invasive buckthorn shrub. The study was begun, in an attempt to restore natural wild habitat and use of native plant growth to enhance and improve new landscape design work.
The study will be utilized as a landscape design tool to guide clients and design of natural habitat plants, and control against spread of invasive buckthorn shrubs.
Problem solving often requires a careful assessment. And project narrative can greatly assist in this effort. The process of documenting a narrative helps to create an order and compile individual project requirements that can be reviewed and updated. The above noted project, represents one of our design tools that document and create the project program and begin to solve problems through utilizing a story board mapping tool.
Park Plan
Landscape design for a new public park, defined by perimeter trees and new meandering natural path. In addition, the design transformed an open community space to allow for community gathering and special events.
